Spring Tamer
The WBP Spring Tamer is a new concept in the crowded group of spring changers/raters. 5K load capacity, 17” of travel, movement controlled by an ordinary hand drill, self powered up to 8 hours when needed and saves spring rates in .csv file formats for comparison. The WBP ST allows you to compare bump stop curves combined with spring rates up to target travels. This gives you a better idea of your forces around the track. Not to mention the ease of use with the drill motor and 17” of travel.
The spring changer has been split into 2 versions. The base model which has a digital travel display and digital load cell display and the Elite which is the show version with the tablet mounted to it. We have since upgraded the tablet to a 10” Acer model, as well as finished the development of the spring rating software. Currently you can rate coil over springs, bump stops and combined systems(coil over and bump stop as on the car). We have rated standard flat to flat springs from 5” down to 1 7/8” diameter. The software allows you to go back and compare up to 5 graphs at anytime. Slide bars allow you to check rate at any point on the plot. Other features allow you to zero travel and load before testing.
